On the shores of a lagoon filled with toxic diatoms, an A.G.I., which exists only in a seaside institute and has no embodied form, takes care of a genetically modified manatee that is resistant to the neurotoxin of pseudo-nitzschia. The narrative starts from the microstructure of the algae, which is similar to the storage medium "punched card" used by early Analytical Engine, and explores the love and gap between us and other species.
