Vanessa Castro (b. 1993) is a Brazilian-American video editor, colorist, and multi-media artist. Her videos have screened at Fantoche International Animation Film Festival, Ridgewood Off-Kilter, Grrl Haus, King’s Leap, along others. She has edited, animated and colored for major media outlets and brands, as well as film projects that have gone to Sundance and SXSW. Her artwork has been shown with David Zwirner, Knockdown Center, Theta, Goggleworks Center for the Arts, and other local and international spaces.
Outside of visuals, she makes Tropicália inspired art-rock
